These are lovely, big, bad boys. Ideal if you want to get through a lot of long hair quickly and efficiently.

I've used these on a variety of people's hair. Thick, thin, long and woolly-frizzy hair. There have been one of the better hair straighteners.

About 15 seconds and they had achieved the required temperature.

QUICKER

Obviously the straightening process is a bit quicker with wider plates and they glide ever so smoothly through the hair.

They only require one pass rather than some of the cheaper ones that need you to either wait and wait on each section, or, have two or three passes with the straighteners.

LONG LASTING

The straighteners did an effective job. The results lasted for days rather than hours.

Smooth, Shiny Hair? YES!!, 14 Oct. 2015

I was given the opportunity to try out these Toni & Guy Hair Straighteners. My hair isn't very long, just below my chin, cut in a Graduated Bob style. I thought because of this they wouldn't really be suitable for me, but the Ceramic Tourmaline plates just glided along my hair so easily. I just angled the rounded edges under, when I came to the end of the length of my hair to ensure I achieved the correct style and it worked well. You can of course turn them the other way to achieve a 'flick'. The fact that they are an X-Large plate doesn't really matter. The final result was a smooth, shiny style, which held brilliantly for 2 days. If you have really long hair I am sure they would probably work wonders!

The swivel cord is 3M long and there is a hang-up loop on the end. Also the voltage is automatic worldwide this means the applicance will automatically adjust to the correct voltage whichever country you are in. Another good feature is they will automatically turn...
