Not for Sensitive Skin People..., 11 Oct. 2017

I love this range I've had other of their products and they're just as nice.

This is a very pretty medium-sized tin with three products inside nestled in pretty patterned cardboard. The same pattern as is in the rim of the lid.

The smell of the products ~ Hand Cream, Body Butter and Bath Salts ~ are from Lemon and Sweet Orange, and other friendly sounding sources.

However, and this is my reason for 4 stars not 5 is because:

The hand cream contains: DIMETHICONE = which is a 'moderate' hazard

STEARETH-21 = Suspected to be an environmental toxin, 'moderate' hazard

TOCOPHERYL ACETATE = A Human skin toxicant or allergen - strong evidence, 'moderate' hazard.

The other two products also contain ingredients that are equally if not more hazardous....so even though they've included lovely sounding 'fresh' and 'safe' fragrances and boast about it 'made with love, no parabens or sulfates' all of these products contain chemicals that are NOT 100% safe.

So,...

Very nice as a present, 20 Sept. 2017
This is a lovely gift set of bath salts, moisturiser and a body butter, all packed in an attractive hexagonal tin. As with all these things, you get a lot of packaging with somewhat less contents, but what's in this one is good stuff. My wife has tried the contents and seems very pleased with all three items. To me they certainly smell nice.Once they're gone, the tin is a handy thing to keep hold of. Ours will probably end up full of curtain hooks for curtains we'll never again have (that's what happened to the last one anyway...!)I think it would be an idea gift for an aunt or mum, but it's probably not really something for the hip younger generation (who would want it to smell of Simon Cowell or similar I expect). To sum up, Christmas is coming and you could do a lot worse for the price.

Christmas gift, 20 Sept. 2017
This is a very attractively gift packed version of Heathcote and Exquisite Silks Spa set. That H&I think a spar set includes three products - a large use of hand cream and a rather smaller pack of bath salts and body butter. It seems a little strange that the hand cream is twice the size other products whereas the body is somewhat larger than the hands! Also, the two smaller, 50g, products do not need to be portable whereas it’s more sensible for the hand cream to carried around. However, it’s a bit large to do this. So I’m inclined to think that the collection lacks a little thought. All three products have the same smell which, as presumably the manufacturer, is definitely feminine in nature. For me it smells a little like roses.Apart from the cost, and some questions of product sizes, this remains a pleasant gift worth four stars.
