Truly 'heavenly', 26 May 2008

I've recently stayed in two top hotels, both of whom stock Molton Brown products in their rooms.This bodywash is absolutely gorgeous, soothing, beautiful aroma and you need so little of it each time because it lathers up so well, that it'll last you ages. It is expensive to buy at £16 a bottle, but trust me you won't regret it.There's also a shampoo they sell called I think Ziang Jao which is incredible too... I haven't found this on their site yet, but the hotels are stocking it!!Trust me... buy it!

I find that Molton Brown products always add a touch of luxury to bath time, and their 'Heavenly Gingerlily' bath and shower gel is one of my favourite products. The gel comes in a flip-top container and is of a relatively thick consistency, which makes it easy to handle in the shower.

The scent is a subtle blend of delicate floral notes mixed with a hint of ginger. If you like products with a very strong and defined aromas, then Molton Brown may not suit you, but I find their scents understated and refreshing. They leave your skin smelling fresh, but the scent doesn't overwhelm, which is great if you want to put some perfume on after your shower.

Until now, I have bought all of my Molton Brown products on the high street (or received them as gifts). Window shopping here on Amazon, the prices seem competitive, but shipping costs seem to vary quite a lot, so worth keeping an eye on those when you buy!

A Very Luxurious, Ginger-Scented Bath and Shower Wash, 17 Oct. 2014

This is a luxury bath and shower cream, a real indulgence but worth it. I'm a fan of Molton Brown products, and I see them used in a lot of good hotels. You'll often know that the hotel is anxious to keep its guests happy, if they've stocked the bathroom with Molton Brown items.

This product has a soothing, lovely aroma - a flowery scent with the distinct but not overpowering fragrance of ginger. It's a viscous liquid, which lathers really well, and which means that you don't need to use a lot for each shower or bath. This is quite important when you're paying a lot more for the product than many other similar, but inferior, items. Because of the high cost, I only tend to use this product at weekends, when I'm in much less of a hurry. The foam is long-lasting, which is a good thing if you want to linger in the bath.
