The thing with balms is that you can tell whether the science money is behind them or not. Being a craggy-faced auld git, I need all the science money in my balms as I can get. I usually apply stuff to my face every time I remember to - about once every fortnight. Usually E45, which is pure science in a tub from the supermarket.I also only shave when I remember to, usually about once or twice a month. This involves taking WAHL heed clippers to the face, and then shaving the remaining stubble with a Bic one-blade razor. After that ordeal, it's usually good to apply something to the face. Hermes's Terre balm smells great - grapefruity. But it is a touch on the oily side and has no feel of science behind it.All in all, a very good product but needs to be used very sparingly. They need to science it up a bit.
