First of all,let me say that the product was delivered ahead of the expected date so,thumbs up for that. I will give an honest review. Firstly,I am not a fan of gel products,have never used them,used to use perm repair on my hair until they decided to discontinue it. I was looking for a product to tame my hair inbetween relaxers,I am currently at 12 wks post-perm,I have fine hair,although there's a lot of it. I tried this product on my hair without it be freshly clean, I used QP Elasta Mango first and used less than a pea size amount of Hicks on either side of my hair. I then brused it through my hair and tied it back,my hair held for the whole day. Hicks does not keep your hair as straight as when it is first applied but that is not what I was looking for,I just needed a product to keep it flat and in place. I used this product every other day, I found if I applied my QP it kind of reactivated the Hicks. I have not had any flakes or build up in the 5 days I have been using it,(3...
