Having never waxed at home before I was a little apprehensive about buying this product but I had to start somewhere so I bought it hoping for the best. I am so pleased I did as it really is easy to use, it pretty much has two settings put it on high to melt the wax and put it on medium to use and maintain the temperature. It has an internal bucket that you can use it has a handle so you can bring it closer to you if need be but you can also remove the bucket and it holds the 450g pots of wax with no problem.It is pretty quick to heat up 5 or 10 minutes on high then another few minutes to let it cool to the medium heat and it's ready to use, I hope this helps because when I bought it there were no reviews so I had to search the Internet there are a few reviews for this product on the amazon.com see belowhttp://www.amazon.com/Pro-Wax-Warmer-Fits-14oz/dp/B004YLUI2G/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1366848535&sr=8-11&keywords=Wax+heater

The Health First Wax Heater is a neat, compact waxer. I've used a number of wax heaters over the years but this one beats them all. It warms the wax quickly. Would definitely recommend it.
