Good band, strong Velcro, well made and will probably withstand many washing machine cycles... I'll have to ask my daughter, as I've given my two to her. I have a 7 5/8" hat size head (quite large - not inherited by my daughter). I know this life-enriching info because I used to be in the RAF and had to buy my uniform... I digress. The thing is, if you have a larger head, this band just isn't long enough. Such a shame as it is perfect in every other respect, so just 3 stars.

Perfect to hold back hair, 22 July 2011
I ordered two of these Hair Bands and they are brillient, they keep the hair away from your face when you are putting on your make-up and the velcro holds the band in place extremely well. They were also delivered within a couple of days.

I like these and they do what I needed them to which is hold hair back from the face securely without coming lose. They seem well stitched and I hope they stand up to regular washing.
