I decided to try the InstaNatural Hydra Gel Cream, as I had been using several name brand creams that cost far more. I have been using the serum from their range for the last few weeks and have had fantastic results, so was really looking forward to trying out the hydra gel cream.

The consistency is really nice, smooth and absorbs into the skin very nicely. Originally, I slathered it on my face- but I found that I really did not have to do that. Just a thin coat on the hands really locks in hours of moisture. Living in a colder climate, during winter time the weather is extremely dry, so a good moisturiser is essential to avoid extremely dry skin flaking everywhere. And I have found that this moisturiser does the job extremely well; I go out all day and my skin is semi-hydrated despite the extreme cold and dryness. Smooth, absorbing and gentle moisturiser, 14 Jan. 2016

InstaNatural has been known for its quality and natural products and Hydra gel is no different. No fancy packing again, just a plastic lamination over the 50 ml moisturiser bottle. No fancy stuff just pure business.

It's very small plastic bottle push and pull lid, when received, its mouth has a small plastic piece hanging down, just pull that down to open and experience a very smooth and gentle gel moisturiser. As soon as you apply on the skin, it gets absorbed leaving no stickiness if you touch your skin.

It's said to lock the moisturiser for a long duration and does not makes you skin feel dry, in the cold weather (which finally arrived Britain) it seems to work well.

It does not have very strong fragrance that you kind of experience with other moisturisers, I am still confused and not sure what does it smells like, so that's one reason for which I am leaving it with 4 stars.

This is a lovely gel/cream and it fits into my routine perfectly. I layer ingredients depending on my needs on the day but there is always room for Hyaluronic acid, it really is a superstar ingredient! the bottle is opaque and the gel is delivered with a pump action which is perfect, the ingredients are preserved from bacteria and they are not exposed to the air which can degrade them. The cream is a real hybrid between a cream and a gel which is why I have used both words. It's thick, opaque and white but with a slight sheen. It absorbs effortlessly into the skin, I used the cream after cleansing morning and night and after using a Vitamin C serum. It's easy to sandwich between other products as it so light and easily absorbed. Hyaluronic acid is such a superstar ingredient as it sinks in and can then hold up to 1000 its size in moisture, this plumps the skin and makes it appear fresher, juicier.
