I have tried several products in the last year or so. My nails usually very strong have started flaking and keep doing so. Frustratingly so, especially since every time the flaked off part is near the ridge, it catches on something and flakes all over again..groan! I tried everything! Gel nails seem to be 1 temporary solution, but the drawback is that gel dries my nails and after few weeks I still manage to flake a couple.. I tried this brand before, a different product, bought from high street at a much higher price. I decided to try this "Recovery" base-coat. I know different people swear by products like OPI, NAILS etc.. but having tried them and having been very disappointed, I am very impressed with this particular product so far. Applied 2 layers and my nails look shiny and healthy. It looks like I have applied gel.. I will update in a few weeks, if I have change my mind.. I hope not!

This is awful. I bought this on the recommendation of a beauty therapist. It died my nails a horrible yellow colour which I have not been able to get rid of and am having to just let grow out. I stopped using it about a month ago and it's only grown out half way. It's so obvious that people notice and ask me about it. I look like I am a heavy smoker. Also, I didn't find that it did anything to strengthen my nails. Definitely do not recommend.
