I have always adored and collected great fragrances.
As a young man, my introduction to mens perfumes was Aramis, so my standards were set very high ( it is still a great fragrance ).
I have since tried most mens scents and always found Kuouros to be the one which, somehow, suited me best - I guess our " Signature Scent's " choose us rather than the other way round.
Recently, I tried ( and liked ) Ted Lapidus and also the Jacques Bogart One Man Show, One Man Show ( Gold Edition ) and Silver Scent - which are all very nice eau de toilette's.
I have only just tried this Jacques Bogart Pour Homme, upon recommendation, and I am completely smitten by the gorgeous aroma.
It is like finding a long lost love.
There is something hugely familiar, to me, about the smell.
I am not going to get all " arty farty " and descriptive about the aroma - we all have very different noses after all and it is absolutely impossible to precisely describe any smell - suffice...

I brought this on seeing the review by 4drian4ver on youtube. I have to say I love it. In a world where so many fragrances smell very much the same, and you always see in reviews, "it smells like........".
Nothing smells like Bogart pour Homme.
It smells exactly as described by so many as cherry pipe tobacco, very sweet, very manly and totally unique.
It is very linear and just does its one smell from start to finish.
I do love it BUT BEWARE!
This on first squirt smells lovely but not that strong that a couple more squirts wouldn't hurt, but you will have already gone too far.
This in the first 15 minutes of application goes from strong to nuclear, and I mean nuclear.
It hits your body heat and then starts to grow in power. One hour later you will smell 10 times stronger than it first did. You can't say that about too many fragrances.
But one spray is all you need, believe me, just one. Any more and it is over powering to a point that...
