Great on natural hair, 20 Feb. 2014

As you'd expect, this isn't absolutely 100% on dyed hair, especially hair that has been abused through years of consistent dyeing. I have been colouring my hair with Nice N' Easy dark brown foam for the past two or so years. This did work, but only turned it to a golden ginger. It did however turn the natural roots white blonde enough that I could get away with turning the entire flash of hair pink and it looking not too conspicuous (just went bright pink at the roots and raspberry pink to dark pink further down, but it works for the moment).

I expect that to cut through the dark brown I'd need several applications through the coming months. I'd expect the same for any other shade that has been repeatedly dyed on.

It does leave your hair slightly dry at the ends, and your hair will feel oddly sticky after the first rinse, but it doesn't leave the hair wrecked which is a plus. Never pay more than a couple of pounds for this as super markets usually sell it...

Works as it should, 8 May 2015

I've been using this stuff for 4 years now. I had dark hair and wanted to dye my tips bright red. I came across this stuff and applied it to my tips and it lifted my hair colour to an almost platinum blonde. The same day I applied my red dye and the results were amazing. But please don't go using this every month as it will wreck your hair if you do. I applied it a little quick like 6 weeks after first applying it and it ruined my ends, I had to do daily deep conditioning to restore what was wrecked. After I washed it out my ends were like straw and I was truly gutted. After a couple of weeks of deep conditioning tho the damage was repaired. U need to use the powder with this cream and you MUST Follow the instructions down to a T. You can't go wrong really unless u use it too often xx
