According to their website, Jessica Nails was started in the 1970s by Jessica Vartoughian, who, after opening nail salons in America which attracted celebrities and referrals, developed her range of Jessica nail products, which has now grown to be a worldwide nailcare brand.

There are more than 200 Jessica nail varnishes to choose from with a recommended price of £10.50 that you can find with a bit of a discount from some sellers on Amazon.

My Pamper and Polish set came supplied with one colour - 234 Cherrywood. It's a really nice deep red colour. Not at all subtle, it's very noticeable. I think it's very tasteful. They also do a version of the gift set in Blue Harlem.

Aside from the nail varnish, included in the pack are three other bottles the same size, containing Reward basecoat, Brilliance topcoat and Phenomen oil. According to Jessica, Phenomen Oil is a healing and rehydrating cuticle oil to heal and nourish dry cuticles and promote strong...

This Jessica Pamper & Polish set is an all in one manicure set. It come with 4 bottles: Base Coat, Colour (Cherrywood), a Top Coat and a cuticle oil. These are all contained within a red make up bag which is nice, if a little cheap looking. The polishes themselves are lovely. The coloured polish is a gorgeous deep, red-wine burgundy. It's easy to apply and has great opacity. With the base and top coat a manicure can easily last 3-4 days without chipping. The cuticle oil, Phenomen Oil, is great - it smells lovely, almost almondy, and really helps smooth and hydrate cuticles.This would make a great gift or starter set for someone and would add a little something to someone's nail polish collection.

This set contains four bottles – a base coat, colour, gloss and oil, not four different colours as you might expect if you don’t read the blurb. After applying the base coat, you apply two coats of colour, followed by one coat of gloss. You then apply the phenomen oil each day to promote healthy nails and cuticles.The colour itself is pretty expensive to buy on its own, so you’re getting a fairly good deal with this set, however, despite its claims not to chip – if you have hard working hands – it does!!Still, a very nice set for pampering yourself or as a gift, as it comes in a nice little pouch to keep it all in.
