I've used this shampoo for 8 months now with the rest of the go blonder collection and I haven't had to die my hair since. My hair is light blonde with this when naturally a dark ash blonde! I love it! It is great value and doesn't seem to damage my hair. Just wash it thoroughly. The tip here is to use as little product as possible!

I normally love John Frieda products, but these have been a disappointment. Do they lighten? - Yes, gradually on my hair which is long and grey and white. Do they leave hair soft and supple? - No they left my hair dry and horrible. I had to buy a different, leave in conditioner to get my hair back to the way it was before I used them. If you want to lighten your hair they should work, but if you want them to condition your hair effectively, you will probably be disappointed. I will not buy them again.

Makes hair really soft but so far hasn't made it blonder. Smells nice. A little expensive though. Would still recommend.
