KTC Coconut Oil is 100% pure, refined, coconut oil. There are no other ingredients, additives or process aids in this oil. KTC Coconut Oil is refined in exactly the same way as other, more familiar, vegetable cooking oils. Refining removes any impurities which could be present to produce an oil of the highest quality. Refining also destroys much of the vitamin content of an oil, but as coconut oil contains virtually no vitamins when freshly extracted, this does not affect the nutritional quality of the oil. The chemistry of coconut oil is unique in that it contains medium chain triglycerides which are the building blocks of the body's immune defence and hormones produced by the thyroid gland. These fatty acids are not affected by the refining process. Nutritionally, refined coconut oil is as good for you as the cold pressed oil. Our oil is not hydrogenated at any point in its production and naturally contains less trans- fatty acids than any other vegetable, animal or marine oils.

Onto the oil. The label on the jar does say this can be used on your hair and skin and for cooking.

This just like olive oil and jasmine etc this too can be used on your hair for a deep conditioning hair treatment by soaking hair with oil to cover hair from roots to tips and massage scalp gently then applying a damp hot towel or wrap in cling film and leave for at least 30mins or longer for an even deeper treatment.
Even apply heat from hairdryer.

Then wash out and style as normal.
It will make your hair lovely and soft.

Amazing price for amazing stuff. I use it as a facial cleanser at night. I have oily skin, blackheads and dry patches. This has been a lifesaver. My blackheads are now clear, normal pores and my skin is never dry and doesn't overproduce oil. Excellent after years of struggling. Also, despite being a heavy oil I do not break out! I use a lot to cleanse then removed with a dry cotton pad which leaves some residue on the face overnight.
But that's not all! As it is a very large package of four, you get 2 litres of wonderful oil that I now use whenever I can. I use it for oil pulling (tastes fine, nice clean feeling and has helped whiten my teeth). I keep a tub in the kitchen to cook with, definitely saves on heaving a big bottle of oil back from the supermarket, plus you basically never run out.
Sinks in nicely as a moisturizer, subtle smell and wonderful for dry feet, elbows and any dry skin really. The only thing I don't use it for is in my hair as it is far too...
