They do not straighten my hair very well at all unless I turn them up very high. When I do this it causes split ends and damages my hair. Very disappointing; not worth the money!

Great product according to my Mrs. No issues and she's had problems with GHD's in the past. These have lasted a long time and have an auto switch off feature when not in use. Heat mat works a trick. Highly recommended!

You don't need this on a high temperature to reap good results and I would advise anyone who buys a ..., 15 Dec. 2016

After reading A LOT about flat irons for Afro-Caribbean hair, I came across an article about the Karmin G3 one. It was reasonably priced and the tourmaline plates meant it was very gentle. I've had my hair in braids for years and decided I wanted to straighten it every now and then. It was coming up to my wedding, which is why I bought it and I wanted to get used to the iron before the big day.

As a hair straightening virgin I bought this one as other people mentioned how gentle it is. I blow dried my hair after deep conditioning, so it was already much straighter and tested a small area at the back of my head underneath where it is concealed. You don't need this on a high temperature to reap good results and I would advise anyone who buys a flat iron to do the same and test a small area of their hair to make sure you know what temperature works for you before straightening all of your hair, as you don't want to damage it.
