I couldn't disagree more with a person who gave this wonderful product 1 star. It is very well made, and it has a wooden handle, instead of plastic used in other much more expensive brushes. Bristles are not too soft and also not to firm, they gently massage your face creating very reach lather.It did lose some bristles and varnish came off from wooden handle after first usage, but overall very good shaving brush for the price. Will definitely recommend it for wet shavers with limited budget. Also will buy one as a present to my father.

Excellent product and just as efficient as the expensive badger hair productsI note one review said it lost too many hairs. True but only for a few shavesie. until it has been broken in. After a week or so of daily shaving ithas softened and loses no hair. I am in my 80s and have shaved every dayfor over 60 years. This brush compares favourably with all others used.

Loses too many bristles, 8 Jun. 2012
The brush works well enough and seems fairly well made. I expected a few bristles to come out at first but even now, after months of use, I still end up peeling four or five bristles off my face during every shave. They're a right pain to get out of the plug hole as well. Will be shopping for something better.
