Normally my eyes get pinched when I use my usual ones. I've had Shu Uermura ones, also Tweezerman ones (both are excellent), however these fit my eyeshape better. They open up a lot wider than other curlers too - not sure if this is advantageous or not! Anyway, for me these ones do the job and reach the base of my lashes better than the previous ones mentioned.

For my large, slightly hooded eyes, these are perfect. I, like most other women, have tried countless eyelash curlers over the years. Some are more effective than others. Sometimes cost does not appear to be the deciding factor. These are a wide opening, wide width curler, which I find very easy to use, & very effective.
