I am forever catching my fingers on my hair straighteners so when I saw these I figured I should try to spare myself any further pain. I used it last night for the first time when I straightened my hair. I was a bit concerned initially that it would be difficult to manipulate the straighteners and hair but it was better than I thought it would be to use and as hoped, I managed to not burn myself once!
The glove seems well made and works well. The glove also fits really well; I have medium sized hands but it would stretch a bigger and I imagine it would still be comfortable. While the material is quite thin, it is also very durable. It arrived in a simple cellophane wrapper, no excessive packaging which was great.

I have no problems using my ghds, I can almost do that with my eyes shut, however using my curling wand is a different story. To get a proper curl you have to wind the hair right to the tip around the wand, and given the wand is hot it's hard to get the tip of the hair to touch it without burning your fingers (you don't get the chippy but anymore like on my mums curling iron)
The glove didn't add static to my fine flyaway hair as I was expecting. It's a little big for my hand but totally comfortable. (I'm a size 4/6 for reference) and doesn't make wearing it difficult, glove feels like it has plenty of stretch so should fit make hands too. (Many people assume only women use straighteners or curling wand which isn't true)
I received this at a discounted price to use and review, and I've used twice with my curling wand and have not burnt my fingers at all, I'm thankful I can use my curling wand now and get a proper curl from root to tip! Obviously you shouldn't...

The other day I received the above product to review from Amazon on behalf of the supplier to review and test.
It arrived in a simple cellophane wrapper, no excessive packaging which was great and the glove's material is pretty stretchy, in fact looks like a normal woollen glove. The material has a slight rubbery feel which I'm guessing is the heat resistant material or coating.
My daughter is a hair stylist and has been testing this product for me, she reports that the glove is really good quality, she has not burnt her hand once whilst using it which she says “is awesome”. She has recommend this glove to her former college friends.
So on that note I will give this product 5 stars and highly recommend this to any budding hair stylist or hair dresser, a great piece of kit.
