Great aid for shaving around a goatee and no rash., 24 Oct. 2014

I'm not a regular shaver any more, as I now work from home and normally just let the stubble grow around my goatee. Because of this, my formerly very tough skin has become far more sensitive, and when I did shave (no more than once or twice a week) I got severe shaving rash around my neck. Someone recommended this gel (and the mentholated one) to me and I haven't looked back since. From the very first time I used it - no more shaving rash. I cannot say that the scent of this antibacterial version does much for me, though its OK. The mentholated version is significantly nicer and leaves you feeling fresher. One additional benefit that I had not expected, is that this is a clear no foaming gel: for someone like me with some facial hair (goatee, tache etc), it is a real benefit to be able to see the edge of the goatee, and not have them buried below impenetrable foam. Shaving around the goatee is no longer guess work and the results are now far neater

Very smooth, no residue., 11 Sept. 2015

I use this with a Braun waterproof electric shaver and actually shave my entire head with it.

So far it is the best lubricant I have found but it also has one other major advantage over other products.

Unlike the gels and foams from big brands in those compressed cans, this product does not leave a white residue on your shaver or razor after use. The other products coat everything with this white stuff that is really hard to get off especially in the head of an electric shaver. They also make your fancy razors look unsightly.

I made the mistake of using those other gels and ended up having to scrub my shaver clean with an old tooth brush. Despite washing it thoroughly each time you just can't stop that white stuff from forming.

No such trouble with this gel in the squeezy bottle.

Also you don't get a load of unnecessary foam like the other products which provides no extra lubrication and only blocks your view and clogs your...

Great for Afro Caribbean skin, 26 April 2015

Great for Afro Caribbean skin. Use along with a wilkos sensitive razor to shave my head as well, never had and rashes or bumps since switching to this!
