Good but...., 24 Jun. 2014

Hats off to King of Shaves to produce a shaving gel that looks and smells identical to my mom's homemade lemon curd. This performs exceptionally well as a shaving gel but is slightly let down by a soapy unpleasant taste when spread on toast.

Pretty good but nothing special among shaving gels, 4 May 2014

I've tried a few of these this citrus one and the blue sensitive version.Quick word..do make sure you wash then wet your face/beard area before you apply the gel (it seems to dry out if you apply it to non wet skin) Seems easy to overlook but I tried it with a dry face for a very quick shave and it's not great doing that..so make sure you follow the instructionsEven with a wet face I seem to apply a bit more of this than I do normal shaving foam. The shave is ok, skin feels fresh enough (I don't mind the citrus smell) and not too dry afterwards. By no means bad, but it's not really any better than fairly bog standard half decent shaving gel, and doesn't seem to last as long than a normal can.It might be an ok option if you are on the road or travelling around (smaller and easier to pack v a normal larger one) Otherwie for me it's an alright but "nothing special" product.

The best shaving gel I have tried, 18 Nov. 2013

Have tried KoS gel products before and found them good but a little bit oily. This however is the best gel I have ever used and is now my product of choice!Stays clear so you can see what you are up to, covers easily, is not oily and therefore rinses quickly.
