I was contacted directly by the manufacturer and asked to review this product after testing, and this is my honest opinion and review:
This item was delivered securely and on time.
This beard wash comes in an amber coloured plastic bottle, with a pump dispenser.
200ml in volume, and is very pleasantly fragranced with Cedarwood and lime oils.
The wash also includes Aloe Vera, to help moisturise and soften the beard.
Now my beard isn’t very long, so I find I only have to use a small amount of this, which is fantastic, as the 200ml bottle should last me a while.
Making sure my beard is wet, I usually use one pump full of the beard wash and apply it to my beard.
It lathers quite well and I must admit to really liking the pencil shaving type smell I get from the cedar.
I have been using this in conjunction with a beard oil daily, and the combination of both has left a noticeable softness in my usually coarse beard...

Beard Wash is basically a mild shampoo for your beard. The theory is that normal hair shampoo is for cleaning the hair on your head which has it's roots in thicker skin which produces more natural oil than the skin on your face, chin and neck. With facial hair, you really don't want all the natural oil removed as it will leave your skin dry. So, beard wash is kinder to your beard and facial skin than shampoo.
I have no idea if this theory is correct or not, from what I have read it does seem to be the case. So basically, beard wash does not strip out all your natural skin oil from your beard but will leave it clean and softer than if you wash it with head shampoo. I have used it 3 times now and have not really noticed a difference in how my beard hair feels but then I never really felt it that often in the first place, but I can confirm that my skin underneath is far less dry when I comb it through after a shower.
