These Klar shaving soaps are so slick you can use them much thicker than other soaps maybe mitchels wool fat is an exception,and because of that you get a super comfortable shave.Wonderfull feel to the skin post shave,not moisturised like Mitchels but not drying either,super,all top shelfscents.Klar Kabinett which has similar shaving characteristic,but much cheaper,has been renamed, rose scented,not top shelf but very nice.You have to learn these and Mitchels wool fat shaving soap..I use a Semoque owner club boar brush finding that easier to super load these soaps onto the brush.Must get whiskers soft first though,,all a learning curve.Very expensive soaps for a reason,in my opinion all top shelf,anyhow not serious money for luxury
