I have to say I'm not really keen, from an environmental perspective on these.

However, there are times when a disposable is necessary. For example if you're a freelance make-up artist or applying eyelash tint or dye.

EYE LASH TINTING

I used them to dye my eyelashes, which has to be very precise and it's not always necessary to reuse the brush. (Occasionally you do get throwaway brushes with the tint but they're not as good as these.)

The brushes (or as they call them wands.) do help when it's a messy job. These brushes helped me keep the gel where it was needed and separated very well whilst brushing the entire lash...

Good brushes, but not so sure about the disposable bit, 12 Sept. 2016

I got these for my daughter who is at an age where she is getting into make up and wears it whenever she's allowed. The brushes are very good applicators, and come in a few different shapes and sizes which is good. She reckons there is no need to use them only once then throw them away, as they are silicon they are easy to wash and re-use, so she has!Worth the price as they good brushes, but we question whether or not you really do have to dispose them - when we've washed them they are still good to use. For that reason, I've took a star off.

Mascara is pretty much just that – the real way you create effects is through the brush. As such, this set of brushes allows you to try out different styles. There are four different type of brush – twelve in all and three of each type. These all you to lengthen, volumize, curl or define your eyelashes.These brushes are meant to be disposable. Personally, though, I cannot see why – they may not last forever, but they can certainly be used more than once, as long as you are not sharing them and clean them properly.
