This is a beautiful blue-based grey which looks great on my medium-dark skin tone. The formula is creamy and applies smoothly with a light vanilla/cake scent. I was initially pleased that LA Girl put the colour of the lipstick on the top of the tube, as it makes it easy to identify your lipstick in a rush. I was further delighted to discover that if you gently squeeze and pull on that coloured top, it comes off to reveal a small pot of lipgloss in the same shade of your lipstick!! Talk about value for your money! Excellent product! Get as many as you can!

This lipstick is really good value for the price. You get a decent amount of product and it's a really nice shaped lipstick so you can easily apply straight from the tube. It feels a little waxy going on but is not as dehydrating as other matte lipsticks. It's more of a blue-grey but it goes on very smoothly - not like the picture at all. I'd recommend using a nude lipliner then applying as it doesn't have much staying power - I had to reapply many times throughout the day - and it is definitely not transfer proof. I found that blending it with a matte pink lipstick got rid of the blue undertones and created a much prettuer shade for my skin tone. I'd definitely recommend this brand if you want to try more out-there colours and I will be trying a few more of the darker shades. Like a lot of darker shades it can smudge very easily so I was careful not to touch my lips and drink a lot when wearing it.
