Because a lactic acid peel is so gentle, results are not as intense as with other peels. A series of up to eight sessions may be required to achieve full results, with "maintenance" lactic peel treatments thereafter. Instruction Step 1: Clean face and neck thoroughly. Step 2: Prepare skin with an alcohol/water solution (50/50 mixture). Step 3: Apply peel to face and neck area. Gently glide cotton ball unto skin, applying more pressure on areas that need added exfoliation. Step 4: Allow acid to sit on skin for 2-3 minutes. Step 5: Rinse thoroughly with warm water. If needed, use neutralizing solution to neutralize acid. This step is only necessary if you feel that the acid is too strong for your skin. Otherwise, rinsing thoroughly with warm water should suffice. Step 6: Apply a good skin hydrating, healing moisturizer unto treated area. We recommend our HA serum for faster healing time and best results. Step 7: Avoid SUNBURN Step 8: Repeat peel once a week.
