I work part time in the beauty industry and can safely say that if you want to apply makeup well you need good lighting. This allows you to conceal your blemishes and make sure you blend your foundation, eyeshadows, highlighters, contouring etc really professionally. If you have great natural lighting and are lucky enough to have your mirror in front of a window, you probably won't need this, unless you have poor artificial lighting at night.
I live in a very small house with small windows, with poor quality natural lighting. I use energy saving lighting which is great for the environment but as all who use this will know, has very dim lighting.

I purchased this 16 LED makeup mirror for my daughters room as she has just ventured into her teenage years and wanted her own little mirror for doing her hair in.
The mirror arrived well packaged, the day after purchasing and is presented in nice retail quality packaging making it ideal as a gift also.
The mirror is excellent quality and is made from good quality strong materials, There is an on/off switch in the back of the mirror which then allows the leds to be turned on/off using the smart switch in the bottom centre of the mirror. My daughter thinks that this feature is amazing as you only have to touch the mirror on the smart switch and it activates the lights. There are 8 Leds down each side of the mirror and these produce a bright light to give your reflection better clarity.
