A friend recommended this to me when I was complaining about my discoloured, flaking nails. No matter what base coat I used under nail polish (including some of the big brand nail strengtheners), my nails continued to flake and turn yellow, and the polish start to chip within a few hours. It was a bit of a vicious circle because the more discoloured and dry they became, the more dark polish I piled on top to hide the damage.

L'Oreal claim that this product will help nails look stronger, reinforced, resurfaced, less split, less brittle, less peeled and less ridged. For me it really works. I've been using it for about eight weeks now and the discolouration has almost grown out and not recurred, even though I still use dark nail polishes on top of it. The flaking which was continually occurring at the end of two of my nails has stopped and nail polish lasts for a couple of days without chipping, and even then can be topped up with one coat and stay looking good for a few...

Great nail treatment, also works as polish, 9 Jan. 2016
I'm from the US and bought a bottle on a trip to Spain. Absolutely love it! I was using it as a base coat. Not only did it help my usual peeling and brittleness (which was worse in super-dry Spain), but it's the ONLY base coat I've tried that prevents yellow stains. Lately I've been using it as a stand-alone nail polish. It looks wonderful with two coats -- seriously, try it. Sheer, but with a milky finish that makes the nail base appear fresh and healthy and the nail tips appear more white. Gives a very clean, elegant, and tailored appearance if you're not in the mood for color. Highly recommend trying it as polish on its own. Unfortunately, it's not sold in the US, so I'm resorting to Amazon UK. But worth it; a great product. Only complaint is it's a little bottle. (Because of course Americans expect big portions! Oh well.)
