It does what it says: it makes your hair crazy red, very vibrant! However, my hair was already red (just darker) so I can't say what it would do to darker colours. I've only washed it 3 times since I got it so I can't speak of its endurance yet, but all red colours tend to fade quite quickly-the reder the faster actually so I wouldn't be so disappointed if it faded soon. Just touch up with some semi permanent half way or add some drops in your conditioner. It does have bleach but did not damage my hair. I used 30% developer and left it a bit longer than the recommended. Mine did have instructions in English. Shoulder length hair and I used 2 tubes (I could use less as I found at the end that it was a bit too much). I would buy again and recommend it. Enjoy!

Gives vibrant red hair, best red dye I've ever used!, 4 Oct. 2015

This stuff is fantastic, my hair is naturally dark brown, so I use this majicontrast red with 40vol/12% peroxide and it comes out a lovely bright red. It does fade quickly but my tip is to use Directions Pillar box red dye (also available on amazon) as conditioner once a week and my hair is vibrant red all the time! I only use this loreal dye when my roots need doing, so only use a tube every month or so, and there's no need to use peroxide on the ends when using the Directions dye in between, so my hair stays in good condition. I can't recommend this dye enough!

It wasn't as good as I expected it to be. I have watched a lot of video reviews of this product but it didn't cover my roots as well I expected. However, the colour is great and it's easy to use.
