=== OVERVIEW ===
L'Oreal Revitalift Night Cream 50ml
This cream is part of the Revitalift cosmetic anti-ageing range and is aimed at women aged in their 40s and 50s. The headline ingredients are advanced pro-retinol and fibrelastyl, promising anti-wrinkle and firming effects immediately and over time. This is a pleasant solid night-time moisturiser containing proven anti-ageing ingredient pro retinol; however, it doesn't sink into the skin that well over time, leaving a residue that needs tob e washed off in the morning.
=== IN USE ===
This is a daily treatment for use in the evening on the face and neck after cleansing. As the cream comes in a jar, wash your hands first so you're not sticking a finger bugs in the cream each time. The cream is solid in the jar and white (or everso slightly cream) in colour with pleasant floral aroma. Its texture is thick and non-greasy, and it spreads out well across the skin without dragging when massaged into...

WHAT IS A NIGHT CREAM
====================
There are two types.
A: Anti-Ageing (also be called firming, anti-wrinkle and lifting.) These typically contain active ingredients. They help your skin replenish which can reduce age spots, fine lines and wrinkles. Careful though: they cab irritate some sensitive skins.
B: Deep Moisture (also called ultra-hydrating, deep nourishing and restorative.) These creams use higher levels of emollients so they moisturise more than a day time moisturiser.
TIP ONE
======
If you don't need extra moisture or extra replenishing you don't need a night cream.
REVITALIFT
=========
This falls into the first category. It has active ingredients that allows the dead skin to be replenished quicker.
SMELL
=====

This L'Oreal Paris Revatalift Night Cream purports to offer both anti-wrinkle and extra-firming benefits to ladies' complexions who are in the 40s and 50s age group. Yes, I do fall into that category. It includes pro-retinol and fibrelastyl (no, I don't know quite what that is either!), so looking at the back of the box told me this: a firming technology which helps reinforce the feel of elasticity for extra-firm skin. There isn't a great of information on the chemical composition on the internet. Interesting. This product promises to improve the skin's hydration by +29% from the first application and after 4 hours it feels more toned. Allegedly night after night, surface cell renewal is stimulated and in 4 weeks, wrinkles appear reduced and skin feels firmer.
So, what do I think? Well, the pot was a screw top heavy affair and once I'd removed the protective cap the scent hit me - it was like stepping back in time. It really reminded me of retro brands such as...
