I'm 46. Asian and a type 2 diabetic, and like every woman my age, I'd like to be able to ward off the signs of time, so I've tried several products with supposed anti-ageing properties, but most seem to contain the new big thing, Hyuralonic acid, which for me, causes irritation. I am glad that this product contained none, and that it is particularly rich and satisfyingly greasy so that I can feel it going on, penetrating my skin and then feeling a little as if it's drying and solidifying into a coating. BTW, diabetes makes it even harder to keep skin healthy and feeling moisturised, but thankfully, now my search is over.

L'Oreal have taken their popular Extraordinary Oil and turned it into a oil-cream, a luxurious thick creamy texture that absorbs almost instantly leaving the skin glowing which is great for skins who cannot tolerate the cloying/coating feel of rich facial oils or even a balm.
Packed full of beautiful natural oils this is admittedly in a manmade-chemical rich medium with lots of silicones and other texturisers but interestingly has not provoked a reaction in my mother's very sensitive hormonal skin, which means I put aside the chemical components as fine.
The oils involved are carefully chosen from those fantastic for feeding the skin especially Argan oil; the inclusion of Meadowseed foam mimics sebum which enables nutrients to penetrate deeper into the skin which coupled with sodium hyaluronate will plump up the skin from below; and Rose hip oil (a natural and gentle alternative to retinol products) coupled with salicylic acid help retexturise rough, dry and flaky...

I'm in my mid forties and have very dry , sensitive skin . I am always tempted to try new beauty products which one help my skin stay moisturised and to promise me external youth . Normally I'm a fan of decleor , Dior , soap and glory facial products as I find they work well . I need a heavier product and with winter approaching , am looking for something that moisturises my skin well enough for the whole day and doesn't leave my skin appearing dehydrated - as that's the slippy road to wrinkles !
This is a substantial , expensive coloured packaged product looking similar to the higher end markets of Estée Lauder . It is a heavy jar and the you scoop the cream out , not the most hygienic in my mind but they way a lot of manufactures present their facial creams .
