Wonderful soothing and refreshing toner, 15 Oct. 2015

I have been using the L'Oreal range of Perfect Toners for a couple of years and intend to continue to do so, as they are the best toners I've tried.This toner is wonderfully cooling and soothing on the skin, and leaves it feeling totally refreshed and clean. It doesn't sting at all or dry out the skin like some toners do. It's the perfect follow-up to cleansing as it removes any final vestiges of dirt or make-up (I'm always surprised by how much comes off!) and after use skin not only feels good but looks fresh and glowing.The only problem with this product is the bottle - although it looks smart, it is difficult to control how much toner is dispatched, and you can end up with either a frustrating small dribble or a rush of too much. Nevertheless I would still happily recommend this product.

L'Oréal AGE PERFECT Refreshing Toner

This is another smartly presented product from L'Oréal, designed to be used in tandem with their other products within the AGE PERFECT collection.

The plastic squeezable bottle has a flip top lid, and reasonably large exit hole for the liquid to be dispensed through. You need to be a bit careful and NOT squeeze the bottle, or the contents will flood out and waste. Hold your cotton wool pad or ball on the top of the bottle when upright, and then just tip slightly without squeezing to get a more measured amount of Toner.

This Toner has a very, very feint fragrance of Rose. It is not at all overpowering and is very pleasant and fresh.

After applying it over my face and neck on a cotton wool pad, my skin felt very clean and refreshed. I had no adverse reaction to it at all and there were no fumes or anything to irritate my eyes. There was no tightness at all, just a nice smooth feel to my...

This toner is aimed at mature skin. This is a liquid and, as such, you need to hold the cotton wool ball at the top and just tip the bottle – otherwise you will end up with the toner going everywhere. This is enriched with Vitamin C and it has a pleasant smell, a little like rose water, and is immediately refreshing and cooling on the skin.

As I get older, I find that my skin really does dry out – the daily train commute and an air conditioned office doesn’t help and my skin needs some help by the end of the day. Some people prefer to use a cleanser and toner in the morning, but personally I like to cleanse and tone before applying night cream. This left my skin feeling refreshed and invigorated. I am very impressed with the Age Perfect range and my skin certainly feels better since using it.

Like other reviewers here though, I would question the fact that it, or the accompanying Age Perfect toner, exfoliates. One is a cream and the other...
