Lash boosting serum by L'Oreal, 15 May 2012

Like a lot of people i wanted to try a lash serum but with prices @ £25 upwards did not want to waste my money - seeing this product at under £10 i though i would give it a try. For the first two weeks i used it morning and evening, but then reduced to just once a day (usually in the evening) - although my lash's have not become darker, longer or thicker there is a definate improvement. In my opinion the serum has conditioned my lashes and although they are still pale and short it feels like i have more lash's as they are not breaking off and falling out as readily as they previously did - without mascara i cannot see a difference, but with it they look much better than usual as there are more lash's than i had previously, particilarly in the corners. I have itchy eyes due to hay fever and allergies and rub my eyes quite a bit which is probably why my lash's used to break and fall out - the serum has not made my eyes itchy or sore - all in all very happy with the product for the price...

I wasn't expecting great things from this product, but it honestly hasn't done a great deal at all to my lashes. I use false lashes basically every day so hoped this would be my saving grace for the damage I'm causing- however I haven't noticed much at all. My lashes do seem to be staying in better (I was loosing a lot of my natural single lashes when I took my makeup off) but other than that I haven't had any changes.I applied this at night, every night for a month- its a bit of a pain to put on and I ended up using a mascara wand to put it on because I couldn't get a good coverage. It has a very chemical smell to it, and in the morning when I woke up it was just a bit of a crusty mess, so I'm not sure how it would work under mascara even though it recommends you do that.I will probably give it some more use before giving up, by so far, so disappointing

Not sure how effective this is - Not a product I will repurchase. Purchased it to use to help support my lashes as I use a hot curler, no effect seen and made a bit of a mess to my lashes and they felt greasy!
