Lip defining set, 5 Nov. 2016

This is a really nice lip set from Loreal Paris.

The lipstick comes in a nice gold tube and the lid clicks in place securely. This particular shade is Riche (630 Beige A Nu) which is a light pinky brown colour that is suits my fair skin well. The lipstick itself is creamy in texture and applies nicely to the lips, it is not the most hydrating lipstick out there but I always like to use lip gloss to finish so it makes little difference to me really. It smells slightly perfumed too which I like and it does stay on your lips for quite some time, depending on how much you eat and drink.

The lip liner matches the lipstick perfectly, helping you to create a flawless lip. The liner is soft on your skin but there is enough definition in it to be as subtle or bold as you wish. It is not a wind-up pencil, just the standard sharpener type.

Overall this is a nice lip set from Loreal Paris that would make a good stocking filler. This shade is great for a pop of...

Luxury feel with this kit., 6 Nov. 2016

This is a lovely lip kit. The lipstick comes in a lovely gold coloured container which is common to L'Oreal and really looks nice. The lip stick colour is a browny red , not at all blatant but giving the lips a lovely natural colour. My lips do feel a little greasy at first but this soon disappears. The kit includes a lip pencil the same shade as the lipstick The pencil is coloured the same as the contents but has gold coloured band on top and bottom and transparent cover which protects point of pencil. Although I have not needed to sharpen pencil I have tried it in an ordinary pencil sharpener and it works. I like the colour very much particularly for day time use although I may well use in tin the evening too. I have not used a lip pencil that I can remember and found it fairly easy to use. I like that it seemed to stop bleeding in my very wrinkled upper lip. On application of the lipstick my lips did feel a little greasy at first but this soon disappeared. It did have a...

L'Oreal Kristina Buzan Lip Colour and Liner Set, 5 Nov. 2016

Ah ... uber blogging legend Kristina Bazan is back and aiming squarely at the Christmas gift market. L'Oreal have repackaged shade #630 'beige a nu' of their color riche lipstick and the matching pencil lip liner, also in shade #630 as a boxed set. I haven't used a lip liner in yonks as I can rarely, if ever, be bothered. It does prevent feathering though and is therefore great on (cough) more mature lips.The creamy lipstick was pleasantly fragranced and after two applications and a blot inbetween, it held pretty well. I tested it by drinking mineral water directly from a bottle, then a glass and finally munching some chocolate buttons - oh the things I do in the name of research!! It held fairly well, but I did need to retouch it somewhat afterwards. The shade would be better suited to medium/olive skin tones as I'm a blue eyed fair skinned blonde and it was a little too dark for my taste.In conclusion: a nice little set for the money.
