Really not as bold a colour as I was hoping for, 18 Jan. 2015

I've heard good things about the L'Oreal Infallible eyeshadows, from various YouTube reviews, and was eager to try them.

When I first got this particular colour, one of two I purchased, I was very doubtful about how I would like this, as the colour shown is quite a bright green.

Upon trying this out, I was very disappointed. The colour is nowhere near as pigmented or dense as it looks, and it took a few attempts to get the correct depth of colour. The first time you brush this over your eyelids, it barely looks like there is any colour on your eyes. It took a couple of layers before I got it to the density I was happy with, but even then, it's nowhere near as bright or as strongly coloured as it shows in the picture.

Although I will say, with an eyeshadow primer on underneath, it did last all day, and I never noticed it coming off on my hands if I accidentally rubbed my eye. But for everyone raving about it, I was really expecting a stronger, more...

I love the colour, 18 July 2017

I love the colour, but I struggle to load it on the brush. It doesn't 'take up' well on either an eye brush or sponge applicator. I'm going to keep persevering because it's so unusual to get a lovely matt colour in such a bright green.

A lovely green colour which is actually much softer and mellower once it's applied which I prefer, but if you want it brighter you can intensifythe colour by putting a couple of extra layers on. It looks great with a touch of bronze above it on the upper eyelid.
