An Excellent Moisturising Lotion., 22 Oct. 2015

Like many men of my age and experience I am ‘sceptical’ about anti aging serums, potions and the like.

They seem more Harry Potter Hogwarts Like than Doc Martins Port Wenn.

Like quite a few men of my age I have used aftershave balm to sooth and moisturise my face.

This is basically a moisturizer and as such it is a really good one at that.

Gradually men have accepted the fact that to actually moisturise our faces and bodies is a good thing. I am no exception.

But as the years and mileage take their toll we need more maintenance The face when we get to a certain age develops wrinkles, becomes drier and dull- the weather and atmosphere do that and we loose the firmness we had in our youth.

Right enough of the old nostalgia what you really want to know is this stuff any good and does it work.

I will try to answer that.

It is a good moisturizer as I say above and has lots of ingredients that help to plump out the face,...

They are the largest cosmetics company in the world. They have loads of brands from Garnier, L'Oréal and have huge research facilities in respect of cosmetics. Just because they're the biggest doesn't mean they're the best. Equally, just because they're the biggest doesn't mean they're evil. I've tested loads of L'Oréal stuff ranging from WOW this should be on the NHS to Oh my golly gosh-this is dreadful.

This is a good moisturiser., 3 Nov. 2015

I have used and tried different moisturisers from a number of manufacturers, some much more expensive than this one. This is as good if not better than any of the others I have tried. It feels good. it feels good on the skin. You only need to use a little for the face so it should last a long time. It absorbs into the skin quickly and easily and is non greasy. Maybe my wrinkles are a little less obvious but it is early days yet. My face certainly looks healthier after application. I have also tried other creams etc in the L'Real range and I am impressed. This is a good moisturiser.
