Like another reviewer pointed out, I too am a mascara afficionado and have bought mascara from Chanel, to Lancome to Aveda. All horribly expensive of course and the Chanel one was awful as it dried out in about a month.Anyhow, back to the product I should be reviewing. This mascara has a nice compact wand so you can wiggle it into the awkward hard to get to places like the corner of your eyes. It goes on easily and does make your lashes look a lot thicker and longer. I also liked the little brush cleaner that comes stuck to the side of the mascara. This is for removing excess mascara from the brush. What a great idea.UPDATE...............Having now used this mascara quite a lot, I am not finding it as good as I first did. You are forever having to use the tool provided to clean excess mascara off the wand and it clogs your lashes up dreadfully.

Best mascara I've used, 15 Feb. 2012
Before using this mascara I was a loyal Rimmel girl. I bought this on a whim when it was on offer and I have stuck with it ever since. It gives both length and volume and makes my lashes really nice and black. It is so easy to apply and really separates my lashes while still making them look voluminous - I've never had another mascara like it. It thickens each individual lash so it looks like you have twice as many. One coat will give you a nice natural look while a few coats really give you eyes the wow factor. It stays on well all day without flaking and is easy enough to remove. It's so good I can't see myself using a different mascara any time soon!

I'm not someone who can buy lots of expensive mascaras much as I'd like to, but I've tried a fair share of high street ones, and the odd pricier one.This, for me, is a fabulous mascara. Probably in the top 2 of the various ones I've tried across brands available in superdrugs and boots (Maybelline, Max Factor, Bourjois etc)It fans out all my lashes so well, and gives great length which no clumping.To me, it's far better than Benefit's BadGal or They're Real and has been better than a Clinique one I have used too.I'm particularly impressed by it because I accidentally bought this in Brown and I normally buy mascaras in black but it still made my lashes look really dramatic, and deep coloured. Usually me and brown mascara just don't get on. Definitely want to try Excess and others if the normal brown one gave me the look I like.Worth a shot at £5.99.
