The L’Oreal Paris ‘Collection Exclusive’ Lipstick (in Blake’s Pure Red) is a stick of rich ruby red lipstick that has an almost natural looking matt finish.

THE PACKAGING:

The lipstick comes in a standard looking lipstick holder with a 'classic' looking matt black and gold casing.

THE PRODUCT:

The lipstick is a rich ruby red colour that’s been specifically selected to suit a natural skin tone. Applying the lipstick it goes on like a standard formula, but with a slightly 'creamier' feel to it than other lip colours have. Like with other L’Oreal lipsticks that my wife has tried, there's a nourishing sensation as the lipstick is applied (although how much nourishment the lipstick actually offers is probably open to debate). After application the colour lasts really quite well, maintaining its rich ruby red colour with very little reapplication required...

This lipstick is a great shade of red that didn't make my teeth appear yellowy but instead whitened them ( i believe this is because the colour has a blue base tone in there rather than an orange). It lasted well, even surviving the odd coffee, but did need replacing after eating.It did not dry my lips and was quite moisturising which surprised me as it did not feel at all greasy on my lips. The packaging is very stylish and looks classy and importantly the lid stays put in my make up bag to protect the lipstick.

Best lipstick ive ever had, 19 Dec. 2015

This is by far the best lipstick i have ever tested.It is a beautiful deep rich red, i have attached 2 pictures so you can see what it looks like on, i think its fabulous.You will need a lipliner as red does bleed quite a lot and this will also stain your clothes so be careful. It stained my hand when i tried it on there.However its matte, silky smooth, feels so soft on the lips, no stickiness at all, lasted just under 6 hours for me, i didn't eat though but did hedge several cups of coffee.Obviously if you want it to stay on longer you can buy setting spray or whatever it is.A really gorgeous lipstick, great price, very impressed.
