Then hit my 30s and developed mild acne

some cystic and after picking ended up with reddish scars.....from great skin to awful skin....knocked my confidence and made me anti social....so I needed a full cover foundation which I found in vichy dermablend which I used for yrs.

now the active acne isn't so bad and skin is asmoother I decided to try a drugstore brand.....tried a few high end oned first....mac broke me out...estee lauder double wear was too drying for my already dehydrated skin. ...then tried rimmel wake me up which I still love but have to use good consealer with. ...so tried rimmel 25 hour foundation with comfort serum which was awful and not full coverage as stated...it was sticky and left skin tacky even after powder. So into L'Oréal infallible stay fresh which I got in vanilla...

Having used Clinique super balanced make up since my teens - I discovered this by mistake having received it in error once... I'd never go back to Clinique again tbh. It covers beautifully, evens the skin tone, but doesn't feel like it's plasted on. I've found a little goes a long way and so the foundation lasts a surprisingly long time, so is great value for money too xx

This is the best foundation I have found. I've previously used the Loreal True Match in Rose Ivory (lightest) which is very good but a little too dark for me. This in 'porcelain' is one of the palest foundation shades I have ever seen- which is perfect for me. I noticed a difference even with just a light coat.

Specifically I wanted a foundation with full coverage. With 1 coat this is definitely a nice medium. Having previously used so many light-medium coverage foundations I wanted a change.

I have very dry skin and as such I still had to use quite a bit of moisturiser as a base. Allow it to soak in and then apply. It goes on smooth and has a fairly thick texture, almost slightly creamy but it isn't drying. After a while I noticed my skin began to look nice and hydrated. It wasn't shiny but you could see a complete difference. I had no peeling or anything and it has stayed on all day with no streaks or smudges! Don't overdo concealer, especially if it isn't liquid.
