On the good side colour i bought was a warm , 'grown up ' pink. The applicator is a sponge which is good and allows you build up the colour as much as you want without the need for constant blotting or using a lip bush - giving you just a hint of colour or full on coverage. Still, the reason I only gave it three starts was I bought it a) as I wanted a matt lipstick and b) I need colour that last. Sadly it's the dryness ( almost powdery) that make it matt which is not terribly flattering if ,like me your lips get dry. It reminds me of when as a teenager I would change the colour of my lipstick by putting eyeshadow in it! I have to say to call it infallible is a bit of a stretch but as long as you use a good lip primer it's a nice colour and fine as a lipstick in itself and fit the price...
