This comes in such a pretty jar: metallic-sheened glass and a gold lid and the cream within is so unusual and delightful. The first thing you notice on opening the jar is the colour of the cream, a deep, peachy rose – quite startling. The cream itself is very thick and rich – as you’d generally expect from a cream intended for the oldest age range (60 plus). It needs to be massaged in – not for long, a few seconds of gentle circular movements was all it needed for it to be completely absorbed. It gave my skin a soft, silky, slightly powdered feel. The cream has a pleasant powdery scent too – it reminded me of the expensive pressed powders my mum and my aunts used to keep in gold and jewelled compacts; very old-school, but not at all heavy – I can’t bear scented cosmetics as a rule, but this was such a light, pleasant scent, I actively enjoyed it.

This is very much my partners’ review.
L’Oreal Age Perfect Golden Age Rosy Re-Fortifying Cream comes in a Lovey the looking jar, the packaging helps to sell this product.
While this product maybe aimed at an older person, I thought this was something that I wanted to try. It absorbs into the skin very quickly and doesn't leave any greasiness behind, like some other products. The net result on my skin was that I found it was nicely moisturised, the cream leaving my skin feeling very soft. You do not need much product to achieve this result, so I am rather happy that has worked well for me. This is my first usage of the cream & must say I am impressed. Lastly I have read some reviews, where the odd user has experienced a “burning” sensation on application, while this has not...

I'm have been very supposed by the quality and results from some L'oreal creams . Normally I use more expensive moisturisers like decor and Estée Lauder but I do feel that this is up there with them .
It comes in a little pot , and is a beautifully smooth consistency with a hint of rose . It blends very well into skin and I find it absorbs within 5-10 minutes so that I'm able to apply make up .
My skin feels almost quenched and reverting see when I put it on but with this has the added benefit of a subtle rosy sheen . I have very pale dry skin and am in my mid forties . My skin can also be very sensitive but this doesn't give me any problems .
I have noticed my skin feels more hydrated after a few days of using this and looks more pumped up . Also several people have commented I look well and healthier - which I feels is partly the creams moisturising but the rosy tints benefit . Normally I be wary of anything with a reddish tint I case I looked like a beetroot...
