Gel that feels like a Soap, 20 Nov. 2015

Soap ain’t cool anymore, instead you should be buying some other sort of liquid to wash your face with; perhaps a gel? ‘L’Oréal Paris Skin Perfection Purifying Gel Wash’ is a face wash that can also be used to help remove makeup. On the makeup front I am not much help, but as a facewash I got a good sense of what it could do. Although the packet hints at it being soft and gentle with its dermatological testing, I actually felt this was a little harsher than most washes – that would be the makeup removal element. The gel itself lathers easily enough and makes for a quick and effective clean. What you get afterwards is a softer feeling face, but for me it had the slight dryness you normally get with soap, although this product is soap free.

For a modern product like a gel, the ‘Skin Perfection’ feels old fashioned on the face. It also gave off a slight tea tree oil smell, which is like any other face product you can buy. ‘L’Oréal Paris Skin Perfection...

Great purifying facial wash that leaves your skin feeling and looking fresh and clean., 10 Dec. 2015

This L'Oreal Purifying Gel Wash is part of their 'Skin Perfection' range which is designed to improve the appearance of skin quality. This Purifying Gel Wash comes in a 150ml tube with a lift up lid. The gel is a light blue thick gel that has a lovely floral scent (probably not suitable for very sensitive skin)This gel wash contains purifying actives which aims to remove impurities, unblocks pores revealing clean fresh skin. To use morning and evening massage a small amount onto damp skin, then rinse of with water.After using this gel wash my skin felt lovely, cool and fresh as well as cleansed and scented.I have been using this gel wash for a few weeks now and my complexion looks more radiant and even in texture. I am extremely impressed with this L'Oreal Skin Perfection Purifying Gel Wash, it is reasonably priced, effective and a little goes a long way.What more can I say.

As basic face washes go this isn't too terrible..., 14 Dec. 2015

As basic face washes go this isn't too terrible. It got my face feeling clean and it didn't take to much get to get a nice lather going but it did leave me feeling like I needed to be extra generous with my moisturiser afterwards. It was a bit drying. It does say that this can be used around the eye area safely but I haven't risked it, my eyes are really sensitive and the slightest thing sets them off so while this may be quite gentle on that area I wasn't about to take the chance.If you're considering this as a face wash to also remove make-up then I'd keep looking. This is one to use either after removing make up or before applying it.It's a nice enough product and the price is good but there are better ones out there.
