Instructions could be better, 8 July 2013

I bought this product because it has been a couple of years since I dyed my hair and I was ready to do something fun with the color again. I like the Ombres effect because you don't have to worry about your roots. The directions are incomplete as you will not end up with the gradual fading effect unless you apply the product in stages. That would have been great to know ahead of time. Also, I wasn't sure how the back was supposed to look, so I ended up applying the product to the same hair length in the back as I did in the front. I looks pretty goofy when it's down, but it does have a fun effect when I wear my hair in a bun. I would use this product again, but I would do the ends first, wait 10 minutes and then do further up the hair length to create the fading effect.

Good for the price. If your hair is dark brown it will not go blonde, it will become a light brown, also if you have thick hair get two boxes.

Good results, despite negative reviews, 8 Jan. 2014

I was so nervous to try this product after reading so many negative reviews but I finally plucked up the courage to.This product is easy to use (though I found the brush awkward to begin with) and really does give you the dip dyed look. I left mine on for 35 minutes after being unsure about leaving it on for the full 45 minutes stated in the leaflet.The result was even better than the £60 I paid in a local hairdressers awhile ago. Just be sure to condition your hair a lot afterwards as it is bleach and does dry it out.
