Beautiful Colour and Toned Away the Brassiness, 28 July 2016

Bought this to try and tone down the orange/brassy tones in my hair after bleaching and it worked!

Majirel 9.1 tone added ashy with a green undertone to my hair. Just to be precise, it didn't make my hair green, but when trying to add ashy colour some add violet pigments while other dyes add green. This particular Majirel colour is using green undertones for creating ashy tones.

After watching video on Youtube, I took advice about using lighter ash colour in order to remove brassiness but remain within the same lightness level. I had my hair lightened up to about level 8, hence used 9.1 to remain at level 8 but get ashier and more natural look.

Application was very straight forward. Once mixed with the developer it gets pretty thick, so I would advise on using a bowl rather than a dispenser bottle. Mixture does stink, so colour in a well-ventilated room.

I am happy with the final result and would recommend this colour to anybody looking for...
