Exfoliating treatment, make sure you wear sunscreen., 28 Oct. 2015

To be honest, I'm a little confused by this moisturiser. It claims to hydrate and perfect the texture of relatively young skin and that it does, but as a day moisturiser I have my qualms.

The skin retexturing comes from an ingredient that chemically exfoliates the skin, this is great as instead of scratching dead skin off and creating micro tears in your skin, chemical exfoliation encourages dead skin cells to disconnect from living cells quicker and so reducing flakiness or rough texture if kept up over time without damage to the skin (as long as there is no allergy).

However, up til now most chemical exfoliants have been toner stage (such as Pixiglow or FAB pads) or an overnight treatment (Alpha gold & numerous copies), this is putting it in the moisturiser stage which OK is great for skins that need a bit more hydration, or those who have limited time for a extended skincare routine, but day cream? Another new product on the market with claims and ingredients to a more beautiful skin.This is marketed at the 20 - 30 age group when skin starts to show the first signs of aging.On the plus points it is has L.H.A. which removes dead skin cells chemically without using a harsh exfoliator....and perlaine which plumps and softens lines... it is easily absorbed and non greasy.After 7 days of use I wouldn't say I have noticed a real difference...but as a general moisturiser it is very good with a very slight perfume.However the actual cream is very pink and looks very artificial....also apart from a few lines on the box there are no instructions or details of what the ingredients are and what they do (maybe it was just missing from my box)

Light moisturiser for younger skin, 13 Dec. 2015

Specifically targeted for skin to mid-thirties, this is a relatively light moisturiser with a slight floral fragrance. Note that whilst this is a day cream it doesn’t include any sun protection factor so you will need a separate product to fully protect your skin. Of a small sample group of 60, 53 saw a difference to their skin texture after using the product for a week. I am sceptical that any face cream will make a progressive difference to skin texture or the appearance of any lines but I do feel that a well hydrated skin will not only feel better but look better as well.This moisturiser provides a good level of hydration so will make your skin feel and look better; any long term benefits will be a bonus.
