Coffee contains a free radical scavenger which helps to neutralize reactions caused by oxidation, which are the primary cause for conditions such as acne and eczema
LUXE Coffee Scrubs are made with coarse grounds and salt or sugar; they act as exfoliates for the skin. Regular exfoliation of the skin removes residual dirt and dead skin to give you younger looking, fresh skin. After the skin is exfoliated, it is able to absorb moisture more effectively as well. All beauty regimens should include exfoliation treatments, and the coffee scrub provides it.
How to use coffee body scrub:
Step1. Get naked and get in the shower. Dampen your skin.
Step2. Get dirty with enough scrub to cover your whole body - a few handfuls should do.
Step3. Get rough with circular motions, massaging the scrub into your skin, concentrating on problem areas. Leave to dry for 5-10 minutes.
Step4. Get clean by rinsing the scrub from your body. Follow with a light body wash if you have oily/combination skin.
Repeat 2 - 4 times per week.
Remember to patch test first if you have Sensitive Skin.

This product is much more than just coffee grinds. It contains a number of natural products and minerals which carry out a whole host of beneficial activities like exfoliating, moisturising (as the skin is able to absorb moisture more effectively after exfoliation), anti-inflammatory properties, softening the skin and removing dead skin cells to name just a few. It comes in a re-sealable metallic type pouch and when you open it and have a look in you can see a rich granulated substance that has an exceptionally warming aroma, not harsh like some coffees. I would actually say it smells like one of my coffees that have a distinctive “chocolaty” taste and smell. My son spreads it over his arms in the shower and massages it around before allowing it to rest a while in order to enable the natural ingredients to take effect. Although I'm not a fan of coffee as a drink, I do love a good coffee scrub!
I enjoy adding new products to my skincare regime...the more natural the better! Being the health nut that I am I choose the products I use on my skin very carefully.
The Coffee body scrub by Luxé arrived in a resealable plastic pouch providing 200g of product. I like the sleek and modern packaging and although I'd prefer a more presentable glass jar if I were to give this as a gift on its own, it still looks nice enough to add to a pamper hamper.
The texture of this scrub is fairly fine and it feels a little softer than the coffee scrubs I have tried before. I've transferred the scrub into a jar for easy and convenient use. The scent is out of this world which makes it the nicest and most fragrant scrub I've ever used. It smells absolutely scrumptious! Sweet and chocolatey with a lovely aroma of coconut and coffee.

This feels and looks very luxurious. It smells delightful too its Coffee and Coconut with a hint of Chocolate. Its quite messy to use but its easy to rinse off the shower after. Its quite a rough type of scrub but I quite like that you know something good will happen. I loved how my skin felt after use. It felt very smooth and very soft. I did not have to use moisturiser afterwards. The coffee really made me feel perky after not sure if it was because of the coffee or the scrub effect but maybe it was both. One tip is to make sure you check under your arms really well as I didn't rinse well. I only noticed I had a bit of coffee clinging when I put on some deodorant! I think I will use a bath puff next time to rinse off with. I used about a quarter of the bag in one go. I tipped half into a bowl to make it easier to use but only needed half of that.
