I usually use a much more expensive foundation but unfortunately the one I use is now discontinued, so I took a gamble on this one. I have never used Laval before but after reading the positive reviews thought it was a worth a try and am certainly not disappointed. For the price it is a complete bargain and goes a very long way, so I expect this will last me a long time! Good coverage for day time use as it doesn't look thick once applied. The plus side is that, despite it being greasy on the fingers when you apply it, once it's on it dries matt so there is no shine and it lasts all day. I will definitely be ordering more once this pot runs out.

I am an avid user of Laval foundation, particularly Opal, as I am very pale. Their liquid foundation has great coverage, such that only a small amount is needed to make up one's face. However, the more solid foundation in the Perfect Finish Foundation requires that you use even smaller amounts, which makes a great buy for the money spent, as I can see it will likely take me a year - make that several years - to completely use the product up. For the amount of money spent, as it was rather inexpensive, Laval makes a quality product that I hope will be around for years to come.

I have oily skin and liquid foundation just clumps and looks gross after a few hours. This stayed in place really well. I buffed it on with a big stippling brush then set it with loose powder. Worked a treat.
