Lee Stafford is a name I know of (even being a man and not being too on trend with fashion etc) so I hoped they would be exactly what i was after, straight forward not too complicated to use and these were.
Using is simple, just plug in and press the on button. The LED temperature display is clear and you can use the + and - to select your desired temperature from 120 to 200. Heat up time is real fast and the ceramic plates are infused with coconut oil to keep your hair looking sleek, smooth, and shiny but there is no smell which i was worried about (although i love the smell of coconut). Buying these was a shot in the dark, my existing straighteners broke and I needed a replacement quickly. I don't think it is allowed to mention other brand names in these reviews, so I will say that my 'existing straighteners' were the ones with 3 letters, beginning with G, ending with D & with an H in the middle. I was on my third set of these. All three had suddenly packed up after about 2 years, so I decided to buy a set of straighteners that do not have planned obsolescence built in as a (very annoying) feature. These Coco Loco ones were a fifth of the price but they're just as good. In fact for the price they're amazing & no-one has paid me to say this. Apparently they have some sort of coconut oil in the plates, I was a bit worried about this (not wanting permanently greasy hair), but if it IS there, then there's no real sign of it so that's OK.
