I am very happy with this curling wand, as I have been with all other Lee Stafford products that I have bought previously. I have never used a tapered curling wand before but I am super happy with the results. I have long, flyaway hair that tangles very easily. I used to use a conventional set of curling tongs years ago but found them very long winded to use and the results didn't last very long. This curling wand however, is very quick to use and I am pleased to say that the curls were still visible at bedtime, even without using any hair product before or after curling. I love the natural look of the ringlets. I have only used it once so far just to try it out so I am sure that my technique will improve but I definitely had long tapering spirals. I haven't read the instructions yet so I'm not entirely sure if I am supposed to start at the end or the hair and wind the wand towards my scalp or the other way round. I tried the latter and started close to my head and wound my hair...

I have purchased many of Lee Stafford products as they are very reliable and they even replaced my ghds as favourites. Inside the box you get the ceramic cone curler, an instruction manual, and a heat proof glove (which is really handy as I'm sometimes a bit clumsy). Heat resistant gloves are not meant for sustained contact with the barrel, just to protect your fingers from burns if you accidentally bump against it. It does what it's supposed to but when you hold your fingers really close to the barrel it does get a bit warm.
I absolutely love my curling wand, I have had many compliments on my curls when I use it! I have naturally straight hair and my hair never holds a curl, but with the wand I wake up...
