Great foundation for dry skin at a brilliant price, 4 Nov. 2016

I have been looking for a suitable foundation since Dior discontinued my beloved Diorskin Sculpt (grrr) and tried many in all price ranges. I used the Leichner Camera Clear many years ago and introduced my mum to it. She still uses it every day aged 87. So having tried mineral foundation, mousse foundation and a variety of others, I spotted Leichner and decided to give it another go. When I opened the pot and smellled the distinctive smell, I was transported back to my younger self. The makeup is just as good as I remembered. I have very dry skin and every time I look in the mirror I see a dewy glow which I am delighted with!So pleased to have discovered this and at 1/10th of the price of my Dior foundation, it's very good value.On a side note, my mum went to an appointment recently and they looked at her and her date of birth on the computer and they thought they had the wrong patient!

I used to use this product when I was younger (18-20) now age 31 I thought I would order after coming across it on amazon, I haven't seen it in the shop for years I bought the porcelain due to being fair skinned and reading the reviews from people told me it is darker than you would thin, which is very true on receiving the product I was pleasently suprised it was perfect it's still as thick as I remember and very moisturising which is great as I have very dry skin my 13 year old daughter loves it to,and even though it's thick it looks very natural and evens your skin tone perfectly will be buying again ??

Excellent coverage, 13 July 2017

First-time user. It smells nice. Like roses and honey. Be sure to only apply a drop and spread it evenly, though, because it's quite greasy. That being said, it's absorbed into the skin very well, and you get a picture-perfect finish in a couple of minutes. It looks much darker in the pot than on the skin. I generally use the lightest foundation tints available, and this is quite possibly the lightest I've tried yet. But that's fantastic for me, because then I don't need to cover my (veiny and unnaturally white-looking) neck and decolletage in powder. The coverage is excellent. I also tried it with the translucent powder in the same range Leichner Pressed Powder 01 Translucent 7 g, and I'm glad I did, because it balances out that pasty shade and texture nicely. I just can't believe how cheap it is!
