Highly underrated perfume, 6 April 2011
Received this perfume as a Mother's Day Gift and I'm very particular about the perfume's I wear. First squirt I thought "wow" this is a tad strong, however after a minute or so of absorbtion I was very pleasantly surprised!If you like woody, spicy perfume's with a hint of vanilla, you'll love it. If it helps I also wear Prada Amber, Elle and Chance. This perfume is of a similar ilk (but not the same if that makes sense).Lots of people asking what perfume I'm wearing (in a positive sense!)I've wore it everyday since and would highly recommend.

This perfume is absolutely addictive. The scent is so gorgeous; it's like a deep, dark, licorice scent at first with spiced apple, then fades to this beautiful subtle chocolate/vanilla. As soon as I have enough money I'll be ordering the 100ml! Heavenly!

I first got this perfume in a branch if Sephora (since closed) and I was heartbroken because I couldn't find it anywhere. I saved my bottle for a couple of years only daring to use it on special occasions and during an internet search found it again. Amazon beat the price by miles of the shop I originally was planning to purchase it from and I'm so happy that my 100ml bottle arrived safely and within a few days of purchase.

The scent is strong at first, but as others have stated it fades to a gorgeous musky, floral, spicy, vanilla-esque smell quickly. It smells different on everyone I've allowed to wear it (I guard my bottle as my sister would steal it if she could) and it lingers for ages (I put it on yesterday afternoon and I can still smell it faintly now the following morning!) I dislike the smell of vanilla intensely, but this doesn't have that overpowering VANILLA!! smell that most scents containing it have.

It is not a perfume for those that prefer lighter,...
